I was the designer heading the artwork produced for the university's annual staff appreciation event for 2023. Each year the event has a different theme, and this year the theme was Wild West. I was tasked with designing an enamel pin that would be given to each staff member at the university who attended the celebration to be worn on their shirts that would be in theme. I decided to make the pin look like a Western style sheriff's badge, so that when the staff attached the pins to their shirts, it would look like they were wearing their own sheriff's badge. This illustration was also used on the programs and table cards at the event.
